Specialist Short Break Service - Children

Provision of planned short breaks (respite) including overnight short breaks for children with Severe Learning Disablilities requiring Registered Nursing Care when they are away from home to meet their physical/medical needs or theraputic behavioural management.

The service provides planned short breaks usually overnight, of varying duration, dependent upon assessment of individual needs, which provides respite for parents and families from the demands of their caring roles.
