Supported Internships in Stoke-on-Trent

Work-based learning placements for young people aged 16-24 with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan.
A supported internship is a work-based training placement that typically lasts from 6-12 months. Interns will improve their chances of finding sustainable, paid work through a combination of work-experience and classroom based learning. The majority of the learner's time should be spent in the workplace.
Supported internships are offered by local FE colleges, sixth forms and training providers working in partnership with employers. Interns are supported in the workplace by a specialist job coach.
Interns will require an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan and a willingness to work.
Please contact education and training providers direct to receive up-to-date details of opportunities available.
