Football Education Training Academy FETA

FETA is a Post 16 full time football Academy (fetaltd.com) It was established in March 2012. The courses incorporate Sports BTEC Level 3 Diploma and intensive football training.  The learners will receive professional football coaching 3-4 days per week and study for their various qualifications. As well as gaining experience in coaching & sports development, players will represent FETA in competitive fixtures involving other local teams, colleges, professional youth teams and semi-professional sides. Learners will have the opportunity to complete FA Level 1 & 2 coaching badges. The experience will enhance their employability within this competitive sector or give them access to higher education pathways.

Key features of the Football Academy alternative provision:

The Alternative Provision for schools will be based at the Northwood Stadium and will involve the young people attending the football academy 1 – 3 days per week 9:30am - 2:30pm. Progressions from the alternative provision include enrolment on the two year BTEC course  upon completion of year 11.  The aim of this course is to provide the learners with experience of the requirements and expectations of a full time Academy course.Key benefits to students
