Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire North The Family Nurse Partnership
The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) offers support to first time young mothers (aged under 20 years) in Stoke on Trent, during pregnancy, and for the first two years of the child’s life, with a regular home visiting programme.
Fathers and mother's partners are an important part of the home visits and other family members may also participate. The primary focus of the programme is the future health and well-being of the child and parents.
Family Nurses may have a background in nursing, midwifery or health visiting, in addition to the extensive training undertaken as part of the Family Nurse Programme, so have a wealth of knowledge and skills.
Please see the Family Nurse Partnership's web site for further details.
The Family Nurse Partnership is part of Children’s Services provided by Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust. Please see their websites for more information about the Health services that are available.
