Aurora Hanley School

Aurora Hanley School is a special school located in the heart of Stoke, offering flexible day and residential placements for students aged 6 to 19 years with complex language, communication and social difficulties.
Students may be on the autistic spectrum, have Asperger’s syndrome or emotional or behavioural conditions such as ADHD or PDA. Many will face challenges around their emotional and mental health that create barriers to learning and impact on their behaviour.
Students may be school refusers or have missed parts of their education and need an educational environment that not only supports their specific learning needs, but also enables them to work at a pace that’s right for them.
The school has been designed specifically for young people who experience sensory, communication and attention difficulties. Facilities include:
