Blind Children UK is part of Guide Dogs and works with visually impaired children and young people to promote their mobility needs  through our Movement Matters service. Our Habilitation Specialists, provide training and teach independent living skills, to help blind and partially sighted children and young people to get around safely and independently. We work with children and young people from 0-25yrs and as well as providing mobility support, Blind Children Uk also have Family Officers who work with families to offer emotional and practical support, advice and information

Guide Dogs work with adults tp promote their mobility and independence through providing  long cane training,  training and matching a guide dog to the visually impaired person and also where appropriate using volunteer sighted guides to assist with the person's mobility needs.
