Timetable for the day:

  • 12.00 - 12.30 - Sing with More in Common
  • 12.30 -12.45 - Indian Fusion Meditation with Harji.
  • 1 -1.15pm Bollywood and Bhangra dancing
  • 1 - 2pm - Let’s Conga! Drumming with Danny Shaw.
  • 2 - 3pm Culture Share with Gabriella Gay
    • Opened by Manaqib Nashids
    • Featuring Fahmida Rahman Storytelling
  • 3pm – Indian Fusion Chair Dancing
  • 3.30 - 4pm Sing with More in Common

Share something from your culture, family or heritage..... bring a story, music, poetry, a ritual, a costume, a dish of food!

Exhibition

You will also be able to enjoy our exhibition made by Urban Wilderness, Deaflinks, Letting in the Light, St Mark's Primary School, Gabriella Gay and Morris Fox.

  • Three exhibitions to celebrate -
    • Congregate banners along Snow Hill,
    • Photo Walk exhibition on the Church and
    • St.Mark’s Primary School art and curation project by the school and in the Church.
  • Clay workshops with the BCB
  • International food and refreshments (vegetarian)
  • Share your family and community memories
  • Threads of Heritage live sewing.
