Bizzy Bodz Day Nursery

A privately owned, family oriented, intimate childcare setting established in January 2011 with a GOOD (with aspects of Outstanding) Ofsted rating providing excellent care in an environment where children are in a safe place to learn through play whilst following EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).  We support children and their family with SEN from 0-11 years.  We view each and every child as special and unique.

We offer the experience and vast knowledge of two qualified SEND coordinators, one with EYPS (Early Years Professional Status) along with practitioners trained in supporting children with additional needs including behavioural difficulties.

All practitioners are either Level 3,4,5 or 6 qualified, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety trained. A number of our practitioners have also gained a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism.

We have strong links with our local schools, our Health Visitor who holds drop-in sessions each month in nursery and relevant out side professionals such as our local early years inclusion team, Portage, Speech & Language and Educational Psychologist

Our care and education has developed strong parent partnerships building a secure foundation through learning and development opportunities. We have In the Moment Planning where the practitioners are led by the child's interests and stage of development. Individual targets for the child that are set outside the setting; inclusion team and or speech and language are incorporated into the child's session or day through play.

You will find us on City Road Opposite the Health Centre and Fenton Car Park (where Thursday market is held)

We operate an open door policy which means that parents and visitors are welcome to visit at any time apart from the lunchtime restriction between 11.30 and 1pm.

We have three rooms; Bizzy Babies, Toddler Bodz and Bigger Bodz.  

A trained chef prepares and cooks all of our food, dietary requirements are catered for.

We work alongside the Stoke on Trent Inclusion Team and related professionals.  All children are welcome with or without a referral in place.
