First Steps Nursery

First Steps Nursery is located at the Cauldon Campus and provides outstanding childcare and education in a safe, caring and happy environment. All of our staff team are highly qualified professionals who are committed to working in partnership with parents/carers to ensure that the individual needs of the children in our care are met.

First Steps Nursery is Ofsted registered and inspected every 3 years to ensure that we are providing high standards of care and education for all of the children in our setting. We were delighted to be awarded ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED which evidences the very high quality care that we provide.

First Steps Nursery can accommodate children from 12 weeks to 5 years and we welcome applications from learners, staff and local community.

Our Rooms

Caterpillars: 12 weeks to 1 year

Ladybirds: 1-2 years

Bumblebees: 2-3 years

Butterflies: 3-5 years

Our nursery is all ground floor with a ramp for pushchair/wheelchair access. Corridors and rooms are wide and accessible. We have a disabled toilet facility for adults.

We cater for college students, staff members and the local community offering 2,3 and 4 year old funding.
