Jack in the Box in Blurton Children's Centre

Jack in the Box is a private day nursery situated within Blurton Children's Centre. We care for children from ages 3 months to 10 years. 2, 3 and 4 year old funding is offered throughout the year offering a variety of different sessions.

Our staff are highly qualified and have specific training in supporting children with additional needs.

We work closely with other agencies to support children in all areas Including Speech therapists, Portage and Health visitors. 

We have 3 different rooms:

Baby room aged 3 months - 2 years

Toddler room aged 2 - 3 years

Pre-school room aged 3 - 5 years

We also offer a before and after school and holiday club. The schools we provide this for are The Meadows Primary school and Sutherland Primary school.

Our Ofsted report from January 2017 states:

"Children are happy, confident and motivated to learn in the welcoming nursery. Staff provide a varied range of planned activities, alongside good opportunities for free play, to support children's learning. Teaching is good. The well-qualified staff have a secure knowledge and understanding of how young children develop and learn. They are quick to identify children's interests and assess their progress well. "
