Diamond Families
We are a small wellbeing service that empowers families to become successful in all areas. We can work with the whole family on specific issues or develop an action plan to release stress and increase harmony within the home. Our service is flexible and accessible with a variety of programmes, it can be offered at home or in small groups. What do we do? Based within 100 acres of Staffordshire countryside, our unique multi disciplinary team offers a hands-on approach to enable young people and their families to make profound, lasting changes which lead to life long skills, independence and healthy thinking. Our therapeutic centre provides home to a variety of assistance animals which compliments our outreach team who work in schools and the community. It is a very different form of therapeutic support- there is no need for lots of talking, it’s all about taking positive action and solution focused approaches! Our in house education team specialise in special needs and provide a bespoke curriculum to support children into accessing the best they can be … which sometimes may be just leaving the house Benefits of our community and onsite workshops are:

Diamond Families community interest company is a Therapeutic farm and wellbeing centre for Children, Parents and Professionals working with children. All of our profits are reinvested back into the service and local community specifically to improve mental health and wellbeing. "We recognise that that families are forever just like Diamonds, precious, high maintenance and need intricate skills to help care for them.” We focus on increasing emotional intelligence, improving well-being and re engagement back into education. We are part of the CAMHS in schools model and specialise in evidence based programmes to prevent or to help overcome depression, anxiety, trauma. Our vision aligns with that of the Stoke on Trent children, young people and family plan for 2016-2020 and our strategic plan outlines how our service champions the priorities and can be accessed from our main office. Our service is currently providing guidance to local schools to develop their own Health and wellbeing policies to support Staff and Students. Service User Description |
