FRONTLINE dance

FRONTLINEdance is an artist-led company based in Stoke-on-Trent (SOT), placing disabled people and those with long-term health conditions at the core of our organisation as leaders, dancers, artists, participants and audiences.  We do this with heart, skill, and inclusive practice, producing participatory and performance programmes in the community and in healthcare settings.

Breakthrou’ Families

  • Saturdays
  • Newfriars College, Castle Grove, off Newcastle Rd, Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, ST2 8BH
  • 11am - 12:30pm

We are extremely excited to be offering what we feel to be one of a kind in the area! The sessions have been created for wheelchair users who also have complex disabilities and their families. This means that three separate dance sessions take place at the same time, all under one roof:

  • One for the person who is a wheelchair user with complex disabilities
  • Another for their siblings
  • And another for their parents

What are the facilities like?

  • Newfriars FE College is fully accessible. Parking is close to the main entrance and there are Changing Places facilities available.  There is plenty of space in the building to accommodate all needs.
  • We aim to create a safe and relaxing environment for us all to come together, meet new friends and have some much-needed time.
  • Sessions are FREE until March 2025
