SEND Services: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Team including Behaviour Support

We provide a range of support, training and advice, to schools and other educational providers and settings. This ensures that children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties have opportunities to achieve their educational goals and acquire the skills they need to gain independence in learning and in life.

The Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Team at SEND Services promote high expectations and quality outcomes for children and young people in all settings; contributing to delivering the priorities of the setting, development and improvement plans through the support of parents, pupils, schools and their staff.

Parental and Pupil Voice is of significant importance to us and this is reflected in our information gathering, advice, strategies given, and follow-up work. We adopt a multi-agency approach to ensure holistic, child-centred outcomes.
