Equal Education is highly experienced in supporting a diverse range of children and young people, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), mental ill health, and physical ill health. Our tailored 1:1 tuition is designed for students at risk of exclusion, those disengaged from education, and those currently excluded from school. We address behavioural needs and neuro-diversity through trauma-informed practices and strategies tailored to individual profiles.

Additionally, we specialise in working with care-experienced children (Looked After Children) and unaccompanied asylum- seeking children, drawing on our expertise in supporting vulnerable learners who face unique challenges. Our personalised approach, supported by QTS-qualified teachers and a dedicated support team, ensures each student’s academic, social, and emotional needs are met effectively.

We provide individualised 1:1 and small group tuition (maximum 6 pupils) delivered by Qualified Teachers (QTS). This provision supports children and young people from EYFS & Primary age through to Post 16, including those who are care-experienced (including Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers Children), have an EHCP, or are unable to attend mainstream or special school settings due to SEND needs (including emotionally based school avoidance and SEMH).

The curriculum is highly flexible and personalised, with subject expert tutors planning sessions in line with pupils’ desired outcomes, the National Curriculum, and statutory assessment specifications. Learning is delivered using a trauma-informed approach, broken down into small steps, and highly adaptive to each pupil’s needs to maximise engagement and knowledge retention.
