VAST - Organisations

VAST is a charity that supports voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) groups in Stoke‑on‑Trent and North Staffordshire.
The organisation was started in 1920 and provides a range of practical services to help local groups carry out their work.

VAST offers support such as office services, help with volunteers, training, and advice on running an organisation. It also represents the VCSE sector in meetings with public services, helping share information and make sure local groups are included in wider planning.

The aim of VAST’s work is to help VCSE organisations have the tools, skills and information they need to operate effectively and provide services to their communities.

The Dudson Centre is a thriving community resource centre, home to a range of VCSE sector organisations. Located in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent and with a unique setting that echoes the rich local heritage of the Potteries, the Dudson Centre offers excellent amenities and a wide variety of client services, including catering, office space, conference & meeting room hire. The Dudson Centre is also home to the Dudson Cafe, a warm welcoming cafe offering home made food and catering, and the Dudson Museum a wonderful piece of Staffordshire’s pottery history.
