The College meets with every individual and their family to ensure that the College is the right environment for them and that needs can be met. The college believes in a supportive transition period throughout Yr. 11 to support the young person. Prospective students will meet with the relevant curriculum staff as well as members of the learning support team.

The City of Stoke on Trent 6th Form College supports all young people with SEND in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and provision is available for all the four areas of need outlined in the 2014 SEND Code of practice, including learning needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. In addition, the college offers support with communication needs such as ASD and hearing impairments, along with social, emotional and mental health needs being supported. The College can also offer support for students who use a wheelchair (the building is accessible for young people with mobility needs).

That’s why we offer a diverse range of extracurricular activities, including clubs, societies, trips, and visits as part of our NEW ASPIRE+ Programme which is accessible for all our students.
