YES (Youth Employment and Skills)
As a partnership, our purpose is to create opportunities for the young people (16 to 24) of Stoke-on-Trent, to grow and develop. Our mission is to fulfil our Purpose, by helping our young people find direction into further education and employment routes, through a collaborative approach to bringing life chances together in one place. Project OverviewThe YES consortium provides young people aged 16-24 who are not currently positively engaged with the support, skills and opportunities to enable them to unlock and reach their potential. This is a citywide programme led by North Staffordshire YMCA in partnership with Stoke City FC, Landau, National Literacy Trust, Youth Offending Team, Pearl Training Academy & The Inspirational Learning Group. YES, offers something for all young people, from those who need initial support to engage, to those young people who are seeking support to sustain education/employment. |
