The school offers a bespoke curriculum for each learner and follows the National Curriculum. Learners can access a wide variety of qualifications which support them in their wider life in the community and life beyond education. This includes, Functional Skills, GCSE’s, AQA Unit Award Scheme, NCFE and targeted intervention.

Want2 Achieve The Academy accommodates all SEND in line with the Equality Act 2010 and provision is available for all 4 areas of need outlined in the 2014 SEND code of practice. This includes cognitive learning needs such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Moderate learning difficulties. Communication and interaction need such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, speech and language, Global Developmental Delay and learners with hearing loss. The school offers intense and bespoke support for Social, emotional and mental health needs with wellbeing underpinning the curriculum and learners supported in recognising, communicating and managing their own needs, emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Staff are available to consult with schools if support is needed and offer a support package that works closely with parents and agencies for each learner.
