Midlands Autism Hub - Getting Extra Help at School (online session)
This workshop is designed to support parents and carers to understand what additional help autistic children are entitled to in educational settings.
A workshop by Midlands Autism Hub who say,
"Our Getting extra help in educational settings workshop will cover:
- What extra help your autistic child or young person is entitled too
- Special Educational Needs Plans and Assess Plan Do Review
- Educational Health Care (EHC) Needs Assessments
- Annual reviews
- Reasonable Adjustments and Help with Examinations
This session is free. It is for parents, carers or those who care for autistic people (no diagnosis required) or their wider family, friend or support network living in The Midlands, you must be registered in advance.
Join this workshop to meet other parents and get some advice and support. This workshop will be held on Zoom. We will give advice on how to install and use Zoom before the workshop is held, if you require this. If you prefer to not be visible or audible on screen that is fine by us.
