New Specialist SEND School Opens in Packmoor
Seventy new specialist school places have been created in Stoke-on-Trent with the opening of Watermill Brindley, helping more children and young people with SEND access support closer to home.
A new specialist school building has opened in Packmoor, creating 70 extra school places for children and young people with SEND.
Watermill Brindley, on Turnhurst Road, is an extension of Watermill School. The new site will help more children and young people access the education and support they need closer to home.
Watermill School supports pupils aged 3 to 16 with a range of additional needs, including autism and learning difficulties.
The first pupils will start attending the new site this month, helping to meet the growing demand for specialist SEND places across the city.
