Want to Make a Difference in Stoke-on-Trent? Become a Young Commissioner!

Do you want to help improve services for young people in your city? The Young Commissioners programme gives you the chance to share your ideas and help shape services that matter to you.
You’ll:
- Work with professionals
- Take part in monthly sessions
- Be supported by trained staff who will listen and help you take part fully
Who can join?
- If you have SEND: ages 10 to 25
- If you don’t have SEND: ages 10 to 18
You don’t need to come every month—just join the sessions that interest you. We’ll meet in different places across the city, and we’ll try to come to you if that’s easier.
How to get involved:
Fill out a short expression of interest form and choose the topics you care about. We welcome young people from all backgrounds and experiences.
The programme runs from January to December 2025, and you can join at any point. You’ll get regular updates about what’s happening.
