Photo Competition Launches for SEND Inclusion Week
Let’s celebrate the places that make us feel welcome!
Inclusion Week is coming to Stoke-on-Trent from 1st to 5th December 2025, and we’re kicking things off with a fun and creative photo competition for children and young people.
We’re inviting children and young people to send in a photo of a place in Stoke-on-Trent where they feel included. This could be a park, school, library, or any space that makes them feel welcome and valued. If preferred, they can also draw or create a model of their chosen place and submit a photo of their creation.
Winning entries will be proudly featured on the Stoke-on-Trent City Council website, social media channels, and may be used in future promotional materials celebrating inclusion across the city.
How to Enter:
- Take a photo of somewhere in Stoke-on-Trent where you feel included.
- Ask your parent or carer to complete the consent form SEND_Inclusion_Week_Photo_Competition.docx
- Email your photo, the completed consent form, and a short sentence explaining why this place feels inclusive to: asep@stoke.gov.uk
Deadline for entries: Tuesday 18th November 2025
Prizes: Winners will receive an Amazon voucher and be invited to our Inclusion Celebration Event on Friday 5th December 2025.
Participation is voluntary, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting your school or emailing us. Please note that once content is published online, it may not be possible to remove it from public view.
