Children's Community Physiotherapy Service
The Children’s Physiotherapy Service provides specialised Physiotherapy advice and treatment for children in various community settings. These include clinics, nurseries and schools. The Children’s Physiotherapy service offers specialised assessment and treatment to Children from 0 to 16 (19 if they attend a special school) who are having difficulties with loss of function and/ or pain and discomfort. This maybe a short term or long term condition, and treatment and intervention will vary accordingly. The service works in partnership with the child, their parents or carers and other professionals to enable the children to be rehabilitated or helped to manage their condition with appropriate support and advice. This is an NHS service and referrals are accepted from healthcare professional such as your GP or Health Visitor. |
