Diamond Families CIC - Organisations

Diamond Families is an established therapeutic farm and education centre providing high-quality alternative education provision alongside a wide range of wellbeing, educational, and family support services. Set within 100 acres of Staffordshire countryside, we offer a safe, nurturing environment where children and young people can re-engage with learning, build confidence, and improve their emotional wellbeing.

Our alternative provision supports young people aged 8–18, including those with SEND, SEMH needs, or those at risk of exclusion or disengagement from education. We deliver flexible, personalised programmes both on-site and in partnership with schools, focusing on re-engagement, emotional regulation, and the development of lifelong skills. Our curriculum is delivered though our partner school which allows accredited and vocational pathways.

Alongside alternative provision, our wider offer includes:

  • Animal-assisted therapy and therapeutic farm sessions
  • Online parent Portal for support and training
  • onsite parent support hub
  • Forest School, Bushcraft, outdoor learning, and mindfulness
  • Creative and arts-based wellbeing activities
  • Social prescribing and emotional health support
  • Sensory and nurture-based therapy
  • Evidence based therapeutic programmes
  • School reintegration and inclusion support
  • Parent and family support services
  • Specialist workshops and group interventions
  • Training and CPD for professionals
  • Community and holiday programmes including HAF and Aiming high (www.eequ.co.uk)

For over 10 years, we have delivered innovative, hands-on support that goes far beyond traditional therapy. Our approach combines farming, horticulture, education, creativity, and animal interaction to provide meaningful, practical experiences that support emotional wellbeing and personal growth.

Outcomes and Impact
Our programmes are designed to deliver measurable and lasting impact. Outcomes include:

  • Reduced levels of anxiety, stress, and low mood
  • Improved emotional regulation and resilience
  • Increased self-confidence and social confidence
  • Improved engagement with education and learning
  • Successful reintegration into school or sustained placements
  • Enhanced communication skills and relationship-building
  • Greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Increased participation and willingness to try new experiences
  • Development of coping strategies and lifelong skills
  • Strengthened family relationships and improved home dynamics

We consistently see young people who arrive feeling overwhelmed, not understood, disengaged, or lacking confidence leave with improved wellbeing, renewed motivation, and a more positive outlook on learning and life.

We are proud to be a Community Interest Company, reinvesting all profits back into our services and the local community. Our provision is fully inclusive, SEND-friendly, trauma-informed, and accessible without the need for diagnosis or referral.

Our work aligns with the CAMHS in Schools approach, supporting early intervention and prevention for challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. We focus on developing emotional intelligence, strengthening relationships, and supporting young people to successfully re-engage with education and move towards a positive “happy school” experience.

Delivered by a highly experienced multi-agency team — including emotional health coaches, teachers, and trained therapy animals such as dogs, ponies, alpacas, donkeys, and goats, our programmes are relationship-led, child-centred, and tailored to individual need.

At Diamond Families, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. Through our unique environment and holistic approach, we support meaningful, sustainable change for children, families, and communities.
