FE Land based college: An inclusive mainstream college catering for young people and adults with a wide range of needs who are able to demonstrate capacity to access a mainstream curriculum with differentiation and support. The Learning Support Service supports students with a range of learning needs and disabilities across the college including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Specific Learning Difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia , physical disabilities, and Sensory Impairments. Support is provided according to individual agreed needs such as 1:1 support sessions, in-class support, practical support, drop-in facility. The Learning Support Service will work with individuals , their parents/carers and the Local Authority to ensure transition needs are also met. The college will support students with an Education , Health, Care Plan, who can satisfy the curriculum requirements in the desired subject area. The College also has a welfare team to support students and a designated specialist Maths and English Team.
