OFSTED rating

Intuition School is an independent special school providing a nurturing and holistic education for young people in Years 7 to 11. We focus on the overall wellbeing of each student, creating a supportive environment where young people—particularly those who are neurodiverse or experiencing anxiety—can thrive.

We understand that every young person learns and develops differently. We're committed to tailoring our educational and therapeutic approaches to meet each student's unique needs, fostering personal growth, emotional resilience, and academic achievement. Our goal is to help students build confidence and prepare for a fulfilling future.

Admissions

Full-time School Placements

We offer full-time placements to Key Stage 3 and 4 students who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Our process:

  1. We receive referrals through neighbouring Local Authorities' consultation processes
  2. We carefully consider every student to determine whether we can meet their needs
  3. If we believe we may be able to offer a place, we invite the young person and their parent/carer to visit our school
  4. We then respond to the consulting Local Authority to either offer or decline a place

Alternative Provision Placements

In addition to full-time placements, we offer alternative provision at two locations:

  • Intuition School
  • Our sister site, Diamond Families Farm (CIC)

Students can be referred directly from schools or through neighbouring Local Authorities' tendering portal (Proactis).
