PDA Society - Organisations

PDA Society is a national charity operating across England and Wales, providing information, support, and training to parents and carers of autistic children with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile of autism.  Many families find it challenging to access information and support specific to PDA, and we believe that our website, support services, and training could provide valuable resources to enhance the lives of parents and carers of children and young people with SEND ages 0-25 years and beyond. 

The PDA Society operates online via our website, we have no in person address, but a postal address has been provided.

Local offer details:

1. The PDA Society website has a range of information and resources to support PDA young people and parent carers of children with a PDA profile of autism in education, healthcare and daily life: https://www.pdasociety.org.uk/
2. The PDA support service offers free support and guidance to parents, carers and family members of children with a PDA profile of autism. There is no need to have a formal diagnosis of autism, and anyone can get in touch for free through this website: https://www.pdasociety.org.uk/support-and-training/support/
3. Online courses and training are available to help parents and carers learn about how to support PDA children at home, and to access appropriate support in education and healthcare. Free and subsidised options are also available: https://training.pdasociety.org.uk/
