What is the SEND Local Offer?

SEND means special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Our Local Offer is everything available in our area to children and young people up to age 25, with SEND, and their families. Our website is a hub to share all this information.

How do I find the information I want?

We have two search bars on our site:

The main search bar at the bottom of the homepage searches the information content of the site.

The Directory Search (which shows as two boxes on the home page) is used for searching for organisations or services.

There is information about things that are happening locally in our events calendar. You can find it here.

How is the Local Offer produced?

Our Local Offer is a live, developing resource that is constantly being updated to reflect what is going on in Stoke-on-Trent. It is co-produced with our community (you can read our co-production charter here) so we can work together to make sure we include the most important information and communicate it in the best way.

How can I get involved?

Your feedback is very important in helping us to improve the Local Offer – there is information on our Feedback page about how you can get in touch with us and a short survey you can complete. Visit our Feedback page by clicking this link.
