Council for Disabled Children - get involved

Some of the groups or clubs you go to might be interested in joining CDC (Council for Disabled Children).
CDC membership is free, and it’s for any charity or Community Interest Company that supports young people with SEND.

CDC already has over 400 organisations in its membership. When a group joins, they can:

  • Take part in meetings
  • Share ideas and learn from others
  • Help shape new rules and plans
  • Speak up for positive changes for disabled children and young people, and those with SEN

If you think one of your groups might want to join, you can tell them about it so they can find out more. There is information on their website: Apply for CDC membership
