Reaseheath Mini Zoo (activities from age 4+)

  • 10am - 4pm daily
  • Reaseheath say, "Visit the zoo this Easter and see our completed zoo developments! We're running a dinosaur trail around the zoo with stickers for taking part, and have a wide range of animals from fish and reptiles to capybaras, lemurs and bush dogs, plus lots more."
  • Good to know: venue is wheelchair accessible, there are wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities. Reaseheath Mini Zoo is fully inclusive. We have a quiet room available, sensory bags to borrow. Easter Egg Hunt - Apedale Valley Light Railway (all ages)

  • Loomer Rd, Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 7LB
  • Saturday 19, Sunday 20, Monday 21, 11:30am to 4pm each day
  • Children do a simple quiz along the journey, spotting the Easter Eggs and then solving a puzzle.
  • The steam trains will run at frequent intervals, finishing at with the last train at 8pm. It is advised that you wrap up warm and bring a torch – it’s dark in the carparking area. There’s a chance (actually, pretty much a certainty) you may get wet – so be prepared!

Clipn'Climb SEND session

  • Good to know: We are a family friendly climbing centre but have extra harnesses and Bag Weight support to help pull anyone up the walls if they need more support. We have staff who can support individual climbers and climb next to them if needed. We turn the music down on the SEND sessions as needed and our staff are very competent at dealing with different levels of ability  – We have supported people with physical disabilities including wheel chair users, those with sight and hearing impairments and many people with ADHD and Autism to climb..

All about reptiles - SEND session

  • Monday 14 April, 12pm - 2pm
  • Sessions must be prebooked
