Here is a round up of some nice things going on in December in the run up to Christmas. Unless it says otherwise, the activities are SEND-inclusive, not SEND-specific, so you may like to contact the organiser to find out about any further details that are important to your family. Operation Global Cheer - SEND-focused, relaxed and BSL interpreted performances (all ages)
- Middleport Matters, St. Paul’s Community Rooms, Church Square, Dalehall, Burslem, ST6 4BY
- 7 December - relaxed performances: 2pm and 2:20pm
- 7 December - BSL interpreted performance: 2pm
- There are other, SEND-inclusive perfomances

- This is a Christmas experience for all the family to share! Enjoy indoor and outdoor arts and performance, a story by Santa, and a drink and craft/games activity too! Take home a souvenir of your time.

Beauty and the Beast pantomime - relaxed perfomances for all the family by SATS
- The King's Hall, Kingsway, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 1JH:

- Beauty and the Beast, a tale as old as time, lands at the Kings Hall, performed by Stoke Amatur Theatre Society. This is a classic tale full of the usual Panto twists. Performances are relaxed and fun for the whole family.

Chrimbi Fest family fun day @ The Indi Club - SEND focused, inclusive for all

- Meet the Reindeers, Santa Claus, Tinkerbell, Hula Hooping, arts & crafts, stalls, face painting, and more! Food/ drinks also available

The Wizard of Indi - a magical inclusive pantomime - SEND-focused, inclusive for all

- Indi Club say, "Join our members as they begin their adventure into the magical land of Indi. The show promises to be filled with excitement, laughter, and magic. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to The Indi Club and watch our members shine in our Christmas pantomime!"

The Buildy-uppy Dance Show - relaxed, BSL-interpreted performance (designed for 6+ but all ages are welcome)

- The Buildy-uppy Dance Show is a playful and imaginative show for kids. Join Anna and Tom from Anatomical to transform hundreds of boxes into mysterious caves, wonky castles, and fabulous creatures. With music, dance, and audience participation, this show is all about friendship, creativity, and festive fun!
- Good to know: The venue is wheelchair-accessible with wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities.This show will be BSL-interpreted. The show is designed for 6+ but all ages are welcome. A professional photographer will be taking photos during this show.

Christmas at Reaseheath Mini Zoo (activities from age 4+)
- Reaseheath College, Nantwich, CW5 6DF
- Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December, 10am - 4pm
- Reaseheath say, "Join us at the zoo this Christmas for a weekend of Christmas-themed talks by our keeper team, an elf trail around the zoo, Christmas crafts and more! We're supporting the 'Mental Elf Run' that's taking place on campus on Sunday the 8th December, and offering activities at the zoo in return for donations to Mind, the college's nominated charity this year.

- Please be aware we have some construction work ongoing at the moment, so a couple of paths are blocked off and some of our animals in temporary accommodation. We have temporary ramps in place for access, and this should not affect your visit otherwise.
- For the Sunday 8th, the mental elf run is taking place at 1pm, so campus may be busy. Quieter times are generally Saturday before 11am or after 2.30pm or Sunday before 11am.

Make an elf pot at the Potteries Museum
- Bethesda St, Hanley, ST1 3DW
- Sunday 1 December
- Drop in activity 11am - 12pm and 1:30pm - 3pm
- Make a clay pot in the shape of a Christmas Elf. Lift his hat and store all your Christmas wishes inside.

Christmas Lights
If you love Christmas lights, here are some places you can see a great display:

Benfleet Place Christmas Lights, Longton, ST3 2RU
- Every day until 9 January, from 3:30pm - 9:30pm.
- The organisers say "We offer a quiet, safe space for any child to experience a Christmas Light Display with Christmas music. If you do decide to come along to see our lights, you're very welcome to message us as well, so your child will receive a sensory goody bag and get up close to the decorations. We do encourage and invite parents/carers to allow their children to touch the decorations with supervision. It's all part of the sensory aspect for the Childs/children's experience."

Bromsberrow Way Christmas Lights, Meir Park
- Every day from 4:30pm - 9pm
- The organisers say. "Please come on foot - don't drive into the road - and respect properties.

Trentham Winter Light Trail
- Every day, except 25 December, until 31 December, various time slots

Kidsgrove Sports Centre Christmas Party (ages 4 - 10)

Waterworld Additional Needs Family Evening - SEND specific (all ages)
- Festival Way, Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ST1 5PU
- Saturday 7 December, 6pm - 8pm
- The event is strictly for disabled guests and their family members/friends only.
- 2 hours inside our facility, with full use of all the slides and pools. Only the outdoor pool and the Nucleus slide will be closed.
- Good to know: venue is wheelchair accessible, there are wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities. The pool is wheelchair-accessible, but please note that the slides are not wheelchair accessible. There will be limited numbers, quiet ambiance (no music played & some water features turned off) able to ride some slides with a carer, selection of flotation devices available.
