Dick Whittington - Audio Described and British Sign Language Interpreted Performance at the Regent Theatre.

  • Join our hero Dick Whittington (and his trusty cat!) as he seeks fame, fortune and happiness journeying to become Lord Mayor. Can he outwit the evil rodent King Rat and free the city from his team of revolting rodents? Will true love prevail? Find out in the ultimate magical pantomime adventure starring Jonathan Wilkes
  • This is an Audio Described and British Sign Language Interpreted Performance, which is suitable for all. Christmas Lights

If you love Christmas lights, here are some places you can see a great display:

  • Benfleet Place Christmas Lights, Longton, ST3 2RU

    • Every day until 9 January, from 3:30pm - 9:30pm. 
    • The organisers say "We offer a quiet, safe space for any child to experience a Christmas Light Display with Christmas music. If you do decide to come along to see our lights, you're very welcome to message us as well, so your child will receive a sensory goody bag and get up close to the decorations. We do encourage and invite parents/carers to allow their children to touch the decorations with supervision. It's all part of the sensory aspect for the Childs/children's experience."

    • Cost: there is no charge to see the lights but the organisers are collecting donations for Caudwell Children.
  • Bromsberrow Way Christmas Lights, Meir Park 

    • Every day from 4:30pm - 9pm
    • The organisers say. "Please come on foot - don't drive into the road - and respect properties.

  • Trentham Winter Light Trail

    • Every day, except 25 December, until 31 December, various time slots
    • An illuminated light trail throughout Trentham Gardens

Adventure Mini Chiristmas with Santa (ages 0-12)

  • Waterworld Leisure Resort, Festival Way, Etruria, ST1 5PU
  • Saturday 21 December - Tuesday 24 December,  open between 10am - 6pm
  • From December 21st-24th Christmas tickets will include access to both Adventure Mini Village and Adventure Mini Golf as well as a visit to see Santa Claus and receive a gift in his huge grotto! There will be special appearances from Rudy the Reindeer and Santa's Elves who will be getting involved in all our Festive activities.
  • Good to know: Venue completely wheelchair accessible, lift accessibility to the golf, calming classical music played, disabled parking at Waterworld.

Crafting Countdown to Christmas with Fegg Hayes Futures

  • The Hub, Fegg Hayes Road, ST6 6QR
  • Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 December 10am - 12pm
  • Wednesday 18 December 1pm - 2:30pm
  • Wooden block decorating - make some lovely crafts to take home.
  • The Hub is an inclusive environment where everyone will be made welcome. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, with wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities.

  • Enjoy breakfast, crafts, music, dancing and much more.
  • Good to know: there are sensory rooms at these Family Hubs and pop up sensory tests for children if they need to use them during the sessions.

Our Space disco for young people and adults aged 16+ - SEND-specific

  • Do you, your son or daughter or someone you support have a disability? Then the Our Space team invite you to their monthly Disco (for adults aged 16+).
