Make a slipware tile at Gladstone Pottery Museum

  • Using the tiles in the Tile Gallery for inspiration have a go at making a clay tile using two different colours of clay.

Make a clay Green Man at the Potteries Museum

  • The Green Man appears in art and architecture as a face made from leaves and greenery. He is a symbol of new growth that occurs every spring. Have a go at making your own Green Man from airdrying clay.

“Mary the Mole” interactive story time and craft

  • Meet Mary the Mole for an imaginary underground adventure. Use sensory objects to discover the world beneath our feet in this interactive storytime.
  • We'll be handling real coal and clay so be sure to wear clothes you don't mind if they get messy.
