Focus to improve cognitive skills whilst encouraging social and emotional development. Delivered in a safe and friendly environment, providing respite and support to parents and carers.

These relaxed and friendly sessions are for families with young children aged under 5 who require extra support. You do not need a diagnosis to attend.

School’s Out Party workshop

A workshop exploring dance and drama. Young people will have chance to socialise, have fun and get creative. Perfect for budding stage stars.
MAC say: “Our workshops can support those who have special educational needs and can be adapted to wheelchair users. Please let us know in advance so we can plan for it. For those whose needs are complex participants are recommended to have a 1 to 1 with them in sessions”.

This is a social for over 16s only - an event for teenagers and adults with a disability.

Make a clay fairy door at Gladstone Pottery Museum

Using air drying clay have a go at making a door into a secret world of fairies and trolls.

Tutorage Music and Science Summer Club: Cars and Carriages

SEND-inclusive themed sessions with music, science and social activities. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Tutorage say, "We will ensure that all of our activities are run in a way that allows for everyone to participate. Our staff are trained to work with young people with additional needs."

SPACE sessions
The SPACE scheme is running fun activities for 8-17 year olds during the school summer holiday across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, including some SEND-focused sessions.

Many varied activities including sports, creative, fun days, days out, outdoor and learning.
Enjoy a relaxing session painting a stone ornament for your home or garden. The paint will be dry and your ornament ready to go home at the end of the session.
Outdoor wter-based, child-friendly paints supplied. Aprons and gloves supplied, but it is recommended that visitors wear old clothes.
